Please use the off-season to check the dates on all your kit and update the online system if anything has changed or is incorrect. This information forms part of your entry declaration and you are responsible for keeping it accurate and up to date. The “garage guide” is a handy tool for this and is available from a link within the “helpful guides” section of the online entry form, or at the bottom of this notice.
If you have any issues or queries regarding the entry form or the technical regulations, please email podcarscrutineers@gmail.com
Update button on entry form
If you are making any changes to your online data, please make sure you click the green “update” button at the bottom of the form otherwise your changes will not be saved.
Equipment on order
If equipment is on order and you don’t know its date, please enter December 2040 (SFI) or 2040 (FIA). You must use “edit my vehicles” to enter the actual date(s) by 5pm on the evening before the first scrutineering session of the event, which is normally Test & Tune Day. You don’t need to re-enter the event on the system.
New / out of date cages
If you have a new cage that has not yet been tagged, please enter the standard it has been built to and a date of December 2040. If your cage is out of date, please put the date it was last tagged. This will make the scrutineers aware that your cage needs tagging / retagging at the event and they will give the chassis inspectors a list of cars that need to be seen.
SFI Tour
If you are due to have your kit re-inspected at the SFI tour, please make sure you update the system with the new dates once it has been retagged.
SFI 6.x flywheel shields / clutch cans / bellhousings
From 2026, the system will ask for the expiration date from the manufacturer’s label. If you declared an SFI 6.x item in 2025, you will receive an email with a helpful guide.
Change of vehicle
If you change your vehicle from the one you entered into the event, you must go and see the scrutineers before you make your first qualifying run, even if you ran the replacement car previously in the year. The scrutineers will then let you know whether they need to see the replacement car.
Arm restraints
From this year, all arm restraints must meet SFI spec 3.3.
Snell SA2015 helmets
Please be aware that 2026 is the final year that Snell SA2015 helmets are valid for Motorsport UK events. The FIA no longer accepts Snell SA2015 so if you’re travelling abroad, especially toHockenheim, please make sure you have a valid helmet.
Nitrous shut-off
All nitrous-equipped cars now require a ¼-turn, lever-type shut-off valve operable by the driver in fully seated position. This valve must isolate the bottles from the rest of the system. A valve operated by a cable is acceptable.
Super Street Bike ECU Information
From 2026, the system will ask for mandatory information regarding Super Street Bike racer’s ECU’s. Please add this in your vehicle before entering an event.
