To all Sportsman racers that have entered the Main Event, we need your help and co-operation.
Due to the bumper entry and that we only have a certain amount of hardstanding in the pits, we are going to have to use the new extended pit area.
Though this area is solid and compact, it is worth considering bringing some pit matting or some form of floor covering for your pit bay.
We will allocate an area within the new extended pits for ALL RACERS to store trailers that don’t need to be with in your pit.
The classes that will be pitting in the area are:
Jr Dragster will be pitted exclusively on the new extended area.
Pro ET has the 2 circles and the front edge as normal, once that area is full, there will be 2 rows allocated on the new extended area.
Street Eliminator / Super Gas / Super Comp have the area from the shower block up towards scrutineering and opposite alongside the track fence. Again, once this area is full there will be an overflow area on the new extended pit.
Even if you’re one of the first to arrive, if you’re well equipped to work on the extended pits, please consider pitting in this area to allow others the space in the regular areas.
We will do everything possible to try and get you on hardstanding, although this will be first come, first served. Please do not take any frustrations out on the pit Marshals. Abusive behaviour towards them will not be tolerated in any form and you will be excluded from the event and reported to the Motorsport UK.
If you are one of those racers that has a hardstanding area, then please be considerate of the space you take up. Any unnecessary room taken up will only affect your fellow racers.
Please also remember that there is a racers crew camping area just beyond the circles please make use of this area as much as possible.
In the new pit area, your racers power will be laid out and ready for you as normal.
